SBIP, SKMP inducts Officers and New Members

SBIp,SKMPThe Society of Business Intelligence Professionals (SBIP) and the Society of Knowledge Management Professionals (SKMP) recently inducted officers and new members at the Asian Pacific College, Makati City, February 27, 2009 at 6pm.

Spearheaded by the Founding Chairman of SBIP/SKMP and UP Professor Romeo Mascardo, the event entitled SKMP and SBIP In 2010: Level Up, was attended by more than 50 members.  Catherine Joy M. Valdez, VP SKMP was master of ceremonies. Members were welcomed by SBIP VP Sean S. Sanchez. Past SKMP/SBIP Presidents BGen Nicolas D. Ojeda, AFP (SKMP) and Eugene Earle (SBIP); new SKMP/SBIP Presidents: Joselito M. Guevarra (SKMP) and Maria Adeliza M. Diego (SBIP) spoke during the ceremony.  Ms. Dittas A. Formoso, an IT Consultant, was the guest speaker for the night. She tackled Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence in a unique and fun manner which left the audience in a very jovial mood thus making the entire ceremony lively. Sumptuous dinner was served prior to the ceremony. Raffle prizes were given out under the helm of Prof.  Romeo Mascardo .

Dasal SKMP Auditor; Maria Adeliza M. Diego SBIP President;  Sean S. Sanchez and Edgardo L. Mallari SBIP Vice Presidents; Rochelle Ann D. De Guzman SBIP Secretary General; Elena S. De Castro SBIP Treasurer; Maribeth C. Sanvictores SBIP Public Relations Officer; and Bernard J. Rafols SBIP Auditor.

The Society of Business Intelligence Professionals (SBIP) and the Society of Knowledge Management Professionals (SKMP) aim to advocate and promote Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence among businesses in the Philippines to help them make better business decisions and improve organizational performance.
