Silent Princess attended the 5th TAGCOM Toys & Hobbies Convention at Robinsons, Ermita last May 21, 2011 and what to expect? Lots of toys, cosplayers, dancing competition, etc.. Here are some pictures from the said event:

Last night, my baby had a fall and her left eye got swollen and it made me really worried. Until now, it really worries me. I couldn’t sleep and I cried last night. I am worried about the pain she felt because of that fall and the lasting damage it might cause her. I felt that it was my fault that it happened. It is really a nature of us moms to worry a lot even in the most minor accidents our children go through.
I then remember a scene from the “Passion of Christ” movie when Virgin Mary saw Jesus fell with the cross and she had a flash back of running and picking up young Jesus fallen on the ground. I really cried hard on that scene. I couldn’t imagine how hard it was for Virgin Mary seeing Jesus her son in going through with all those sufferings and in dying on the cross and even how hard it was for our Father God to sacrifice His only son for us all sinners but because He loves us so much He did that to save us. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)” (more…)
Everybody wants to feel beautiful inside and out. Not only the models, actors and actresses, beauty queens, etc. Nigel Barker and J. Alexander from America’s Top Model were at Trinoma mall last April 16, 2011 as part of their book tour and shared some tips on how to be beautiful not only in front of a camera.
Silent Princess enjoyed watching them as they relayed and demonstrated these tips to the audience. Sarah Meier hosted the show and Nigel Barker was called first after a video presentation of him. He shared what’s inside his book “Beauty Equation: Revealing a Better and More Beautiful You“. When asked about the equation of Beauty, he immediately answered: “You + allure + confidence + compassion + spontaneity + health + honesty + charm + energy + humor= Beauty” and he dedicated Charm to Filipinos, how sweet!
Last Friday (April 8, 2011), Silent Princess attended the B.U.M’s 2nd Bloggers Night event at Dulcinea, Tomas Morato, Quezon City for the launching of B.U.M Equipment’s Summer 2011 collection and their new online contest entitled “My Reality, My Story”.
The contest is open for boys and girls, 13 years old above and residents of the Philippines. My Story defines today’s youth moods of Emo and Goth Fanatics, starting with My Reality – a collection of thoughts expressed through fashion and the style of what actually exists. Last Saturday (March 12, 2o11), Silent Princess for the nth time watched Arnel Pineda and Ammo band performed at Rockville bar Timog, Quezon City. As expected, Arnel Pineda rocked everybody’s world and soothed every woman’s heart that night. He was very kind and generous enough to sing the songs requested by the viewers and to give in to our “More!” request several times. He will be performing again this coming March 19, 2011 at Rockville bar so, don’t forget to catch this opportunity. For sure, he will make your Saturday night, a night to remember .

Last Saturday (February 26, 2011), Silent Princess attended the T3Fun Press Launch at Oakwood Hotel in Ortigas. The said event was hosted by DJ Sky of 99.5 RT and attended by fellow invited bloggers and some of the press media.
The launch started with Mr. Taesun An’s opening remarks and followed by the introduction of T3Fun’s major MMORPGs such as Aika Global and CardMon Hero which were developed by Hanbitsoft.

Silent Princess tried to capture as many bubble pictures as she could when her daughter was playing her Bubble Sword toy. That bubble toy produced many bubbles but Silent Princess were able to capture few pictures of them. It was hard to capture pictures of them. Silent Princess entry for this week's theme "Birthday" at Litratong Pinoy are birthday cakes of my dear daughter Kasumi. I just couldn't find the picture of her cake on her 2nd birthday celebration. She is now 5 years old and we let her choose cake's designs for her birthdays even if they were just simple family birthday celebrations. She grows so fast and sometimes I just want to freeze time. But that's the reality, she'll grow and I can not hold on her forever like a little baby on my lap. I will just enjoy every moment that we have while she's still young and playful.

This is Silent Princess' entry for this week's theme "Soft" at Litratong Pinoy. A soft pink teddy bear being hugged by my sweet baby while she was sleeping. So cute!
LP: Malamig (Cold)
Cold Mineral Water and ice cubes shaped like fish are Silent Princess' entry for this week theme "Cold" at Litratong Pinoy. I always drink cold mineral water and I really like it especially during Summer. This Sparkling Natural Mineral Water was a gift for me and I haven't opened it yet. I keep on forgetting to drink it because when I see it in the refrigerator it doesn't look like a mineral water hehehe. But when I was looking inside the refrigerator for something I could post for this week theme, I saw this bottle and read the label and that was the only time I recognized that it is a mineral water and it was a gift for me.
LP: LATA (Can)
Isang Lata na sisidlan ng halaman ang lahok ni Silent Princess sa tema ngayong linggo 'Lata" sa Litratong Pinoy. Kesa itapon ko ang mga lata ng gatas na walang laman ay ginagamit ko na lang ang mga ito na sisidlan ng aming mga halaman. (A Can as a plant vessel is the entry of Silent Princess for this week theme "Can" at Litratong Pinoy. Instead of throwing away the empty cans of milk, I just use them as plant vessels).
LP: Gitna (Middle)
Ito ang loob ng isang simbahan. Sa gitna ng altar ay makikita natin si Hesus. Disyembre 25 ang kanyang kaarawan. Sana ay atin syang alalahanin ngayong kapaskuhan. (This is the inside of a church. In the middle of the altar, we can see Jesus. December 25 is His birthday. I hope that we remember Him this Christmas.)

ukas na kulungan ang lahok ni Silent Princess sa linggong ito sa Litratong Pinoy. Ito ay ang kulangan ng "hamster" ng aking anak na pinangalanan nyang "Byta". Pagkabukas na pagkabukas ko ng kulungan nya ay dali-dali nyang sinubukang tumakas hehehe. (An open cage is Silent Princess' entry for this week at Litratong Pinoy. This is the cage of my baby's hamster which she named "Byta". As soon as I opened the cage it immediately tried to escape hehehe).
LP-Sisidlan (Vessel, Holder, Vase)
Sisidlan ng bulaklak ang lahok ni Silent Princess sa linggong ito sa Litratong Pinoy. Ito ay madalas ginagamit na dekorasyon sa loob ng bahay. (A Flower Vase is the entry of Silent Princess this week at Litratong Pinoy. It is being used as a decoration inside the house.)

Ketchup is the entry of Silent Princess on the theme "Thick, Stiff" at Litratong Pinoy this week. I really like to dip fried chicken, fried fish, fried pork, etc. in ketchup. I makes me eat more.

Here is the entry of Silent Princess for the theme Liquid at Litratong Pinoy. The pictures are raindrops on the leaves. After the rain, only raindrops were left on our plants outside the house. I think the plants were happy because they were watered by the rain.

These are some wet plants after a rain. This makes them happy and makes them bloom but too much rain may also destroy them.
LP: Imposible ba ito?
Is it impossible to dry a t-shirt while driving like in this picture? No, not here in the Philippines hehehe. I'm not really sure if it was really the purpose of the owner of this truck since as you can see the t-shirt was dirty. I saw this on our way to UP one time and in disbelief I immediately took a picture of this truck.
LP: Misyon
Ang misyon ng isang salamangkero (magician) sa isang "kids party" ay magbigay ng aliw at surpresa sa mga bata. Ito ang lahok ko sa temang "Misyon" ngayong linggo sa Litratong Pinoy. Tunay na napamangha at natuwa ang mga bata sa salamangkerong ito. Madami syang "tricks" o "magics" na pinakita at isa na nga ay itong kanyang assistant nang ibaba ang itinaklob na tela sa kanya ay biglang nag-iba ang kanyang damit.
LP: Lahat ay Payak
Ito ang litrato ng guhit ng aking tatlong taong anak sa kanyang pinsang si Tristan. Ito ay payak na guhit ngunit nagpapakita ng hawig sa itsura ng kanyang pinsan. Hindi ko sya tinuruan kung paano iguhit si tristan o kung paano gumuhit ng mukha. Kadalasan pinapanood nya lang ako habang ginuguhit ko ang mga tao o mga bagay na gusto nyang iguhit ko. Sinurpresa na lang nya ako isang araw sa pagpapakita sa akin ng guhit na ito habang sinasabing "Mommy, Tristan ". Hula ko, ito ang paraan nya para ipakita ang kanyang payak na pagmamahal sa kanyang pinsan.
LP: Nang Matapos
Kahapon ay huling araw ng "summer workshop" sa "Learning Jungle School" ng aking mahal na anak. Binigyan ako ng guro ng "report" kung pano sya nagperform sa klase kasama ng mga artworks, exercises at isang klase ng grades. Para sa akin ang report ang pinakaimportante sa lahat sapagkat iyon ang naglalarawan kung pano si kasumi sa klase. Sa loob ng kotse dali-dali kong binuksan ang brown envelope at inumpisahan kong basahin ang report. Nasa unang sentence pa lang ako ngunit kinailangan kong huminto sapagkat namuo ang luha sa aking mga mata at malapit ng tumulo.
LP: Simula pa lamang
Nung sunduin ko kahapon ang aking anak sa kanyang "summer workshop", dali-dali nyang ibinigay sa akin ang puting envelope sabay sabing "Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!". Muntik na akong maiyak. Sa loob ng kotse paulit-ulit nyang sinasabi ang mga salitang ito. Napakalambing nya talagang bata tuwina. Kahit na alam kong ang guro nya ang sumulat ng pagbati sa sulat, alam kong kung kaya nya na iyon ay gagawin nya iyon para sa akin.
LP: Madumi
Kay gandang "fishpond" medyo madumi nga lang. Kung mapapansin nyo buhay pa rin mga isda dto.. hehehe
LP: Kinagisnan
Ito ang nakagisnan kong ikinabubuhay ng mga tao sa aming bayan. Oo, ako ay isang taga-Amadeo- ang Coffee Capital ng Pilipinas. Kung kaya't ako ay mahilig uminom ng kape mula pagkabata. Nakatikim na ba kyo ng kape sa Amadeo?
LP: Maalaala Mo Kaya?
Ito ay mga sulat at "greeting cards" galing sa mga kaibigan ko na ang karamihan ay hindi ko na nakikita at nakakausap. Sila ay mga kaibigan ko nung kolehiyo at mga naging kaibigan ko sa mga opisina na dati kong pinagtrabahuhan. Matagal na nilang binigay sa akin ang mga ito. Paminsan-minsa nakakatuwang basahin ulit ang mga ito upang alalahanin silang mga kaibigan ko na nging bahagi ng maligayang panahon nung ako ay nasa kolehiyo pa at mga panahon sa mga opisina na dati kong pinagtrabahuhan. Ako kaya naaalala pa nila?
